School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi

The School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi (SPA Delhi), originally started as a Department of Architecture at Delhi Polytechnic in 1941, later becoming associated with the University of Delhi. In 1955, it merged with the School of Town and Country Planning, leading to its renaming in 1959 to reflect its expanded focus on planning disciplines.
