Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC), Delhi University

The Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC) is a coeducational institution located in Netaji Nagar, New Delhi. Established in 1987, the college emerged from the dissolution of the former G.D. Salwan College and operates under the jurisdiction of the Delhi Administration.

Infrastructure

The college occupies a 5-acre campus with approximately 2.5 acres of built-up area. The infrastructure, while being managed by the GNCTD Department of Higher Education, faces challenges due to the lack of a permanent facility.

Academic Offerings

DCAC offers a diverse range of academic programs:

• 18 undergraduate courses leading to Bachelor with Honours/Programme Degrees
• Programs are available in both the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and the previous semester/FYUP formats
• Various self-financed and add-on courses

In 1989, DCAC became the first college in Delhi University to introduce a three-year Honors Program in Journalism.
