Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Delhi University

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, established in 1990 in Karampura, Delhi. The college is entirely funded by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and is accredited under Sections 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act.

Infrastructure

The college campus features modern infrastructural facilities to support academic activities:

• Computer Centre: Centrally air-conditioned, located on the second floor of C Block, accommodating approximately 200 users. It supports network-based learning and offers 24/7 internet access via WLAN and LAN.
• Library: A central library spanning 2,550 square meters over three floors, including a reading room for faculty and a large reading hall with a capacity of over 250 students. The library houses a collection of 42,456 textbooks and reference materials.
• Research Laboratories: Each scientific department is equipped with research laboratories that facilitate academic research, along with a shared instrumentation facility for enhanced technical support.
• Lecture Halls: The college comprises twelve lecture halls with a seating capacity of 70 each, 36 lecture rooms seating 40-60, and two seminar rooms accommodating 100-150. All are equipped with modern audiovisual teaching tools.
• Computer Labs: Three computer labs with approximately 140 computers are equipped with the latest configurations and multimedia technology, including LCD projectors, and are connected through the Delhi University optical fibre network.
